Wait, I haven't met him/her

It was broght to our attention that some of our friends/family may not have gotten an opportunity to get to know the person we've decided to marry. So we decided it would be good to post a short blurb about each other so you could have some more info about the person that means enough to us to forego the tax considerations and get married.

Andy was born in Cleveland Ohio September 19th, 1980. As a child, he enjoyed rivalry with his siblings Jake, Chaz, Dedo, and John. When he wasn't taunting Dedo with voices under her bed or watching Chaz and Dedo fight over Legos, he was playing video games and messing around with computers. He met his best friend Sam at Woodbury Intermediate School in Shaker Hts. OH and they continued to cause all sorts of mischief throughout middle school and high school. Despite their obvious differences, they remained friends through their mutual love of good music, although Sam played Viola and Andy played saxophone and drums. Andy graduated from Shaker Hts. High School in 1998, and attended The University of Akron for a semester and a half, deciding that college was not for him at the time. Andy ventured to Winchester, VA to live with his mother and jump-start his career in technology. After a year as a network administrator for The Grafton School, and 4 years as a tech at AT&T, Andy accepted an offer to work as the Systems Engineer for DS3 Datavaulting. He currently resides in Herndon, VA with his lovely fiance Holly, their dog Codi, and "the guy on the couch" also known as RC (the reverend).

Holly was born in Warsaw, NY March 11th, 1980. As a child, she competed with and taught her sisters Heather, Joan, & Emily (and later with her brother CJ). As the child of a Marine, she enjoyed living in such exciting locations as North Carolina, Upstate New York, and Shaker Hts., OH and met many interesting people this way. When Holly wasn't playing Violin, she was busy reading or keeping up with the music on the radio. Holly graduated from Brockport High School in 1998, and went on to pursue her degree in English Language and Literature from SUNY Stony Brook. After pursuing a teaching career in Long Island (at the Riverhead Charter School) Holly moved to Herndon, VA in June 2005 to be with Andy, and also currently enjoys the company of Codi and RC. She works as a 7th grade English teacher and is studying Educational Technology Leadership at The George Washington University.

Strangely enough, we met in 7th grade. We had a strong group of mutual friends and have maintained contact with them through the years. Holly lived in Shaker Hts. from 7th grade through 10th grade, and would visit when she had a chance throughout High School and College. Andy and Holly remained in contact during college through email and Andy eventually started visiting Holly in Long Island. After a number of visits on both sides, Andy and Holly got together at the first annual pig roast September, 2004. A few weeks later they decided to remain together and Holly moved in with Andy June, 2005.
